Why I’m a fan of Facebook

New York Times columnist David Carr explains it quite well. As a professor, I find it’s a way to keep connected with students, though I stay on my profile page and just read the news feeds. I’m not sure I want to see everything students post to each other.

I had my own Facebook milestone: I used the Events to coordinate the annual Creightonian Open. It seemed to work really well with everyone on Facebook and I did invite others. I also took photos and posted them on the event page. So, it’s a multimedia world out there.  I’m diving in.
